What can I do about flatulence that causes fecal leaking? - increased flatulence

Years, I am generally healthy 65 years old woman, and they have a discharge of small amounts of liquid stool passing gas. The symptom comes and goes but usually lasts for several days. I am a vegetarian and eat lots of fiber from fruits, vegetables, legumes and cereals, which I know to increase flatulence, but I wonder what I can do about the leak. Ideas? Thank you.
